My husband and I have been Suntrust customers for 20+ years. Recently we sold our home in Venice, Florida and purchased a home in Inverness, Florida.
Because we have been with Suntrust for so long and had our mortgage with your bank we decided to do the same with this time around. And thats when the nightmare began!
Mr. Willard Chubb is the loan officer who started the paperwork at the South Bridge office in Venice. Mistakes were made throughout the process. ie: accounts that didnt even belong to us; wrong zip codes; wrong spelling of the street where we purchased the new home; outstanding balance when there wasnt any. The list goes on,w To cut to the chase, we are not basically homeless and living in the Quality Inn in Locanto, Florida paying $100+ a day to do so. We have the clothes on our backs and thats it. Weve had to put our belongings in storage to the tune of $200/month.
Suntrust notified us 4 days before closing that there was a problem with my husbands permanent residency card. Something my husband is in the process of fixing.
Nothing has gone right. The loan officer doesnt even bother with us anymore. When I told him I feared that we would be homeless, his answer was oh, thats right you have a big dog!
So now Im coming to you for help with getting the mortgage through and help with paying the bills that are acruing
