My name is Daniel and I would like to know how to get Charter TV and Spectrum Ultra 100 Internet to service my residential area. If there is a process I would like to know what the steps are involved so that I can attempt to make this happen. I understand costs involved in running lines on Charter's side of business.
I currently live in Marine Creek Ranch neighborhood located in Fort Worth, TX. My exact home address is 5613 Mount Storm Way, Fort Worth, TX 76179
The only service in my area is ATT Uverse for internet and tv and as far as internet goes, they currently offer a maximum of 18Mbps speed
The area alone is very mixed in home prices ranging from neighborhood homes starting at $140k to neighborhood homes from $300k and up. It is an all residential area no retail at all. It would seem that this would be a perfect scope of an area to run Charter lines since ATT is dominating this area
I use the Nextdoor app that is available for android, ios, and windows phones (it's an app where local communities in the same area can talk to one another about their local communities) and there are countless people on here complaining about having att as their only choice of service and wanting to switch for various reasons
My main reason for switching would be internet alone. 18Mbps download speed is not sufficient for my needs along with a lot of other people on this Nextdoor app. Everyone is this area wants faster speeds and would be willing to pay for it
My specific neighborhood is coming close to its last phase and our HOA is coming close to be governed by the community itself within the few years so if this is an option, to run this by the current or future board of HOA members to pay for Charter to be in our area/neighborhood how much would it be exactly? I could make this a topic of discussion of this is something our specific HOA would be willing to incur these costs. If our HOA doesn't want to incur these costs, I do see this as a perfect area to take over since ATT is the only service and is monopolizing it and the costs for running the lines would pay for itself very soon after customers switch over.
