My name is Helene. I am an educator and business woman for over 40 – Robin Hayes email address

Helene sent a message to Robin Hayes – Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of JetBlue Airways Corporation – Email Address that said:

My name is Helene. I am an educator and business woman for over 40 years. I wanted to share something with you that I feel very strongly about.

I own a second home in Rincon, PR. I recently traveled on your JetBlue planes down to Aquadilla and then back to JFK and I have to say, I was aghast at the condition of the plane's interior. On both flights, we purchased extra legroom seats. On one flight we were in row 3 and on the second flight we were in row 4. NONE of the seats worked. It was one of the most uncomfortable plane rides I've ever taken in my life.

There was candy stuck on all our seats on both flights, meaning the seats were filthy. There were dogs and cats and even a German Shepard sitting in one of the aisle seats. I felt like I was in a cattle car. It was disgusting.

If you are going to let animals fly with people, many of whom have terrible allergies to dander, you should require anyone with a pet to be seated in the back of the plane. One woman took her dog out and put it on her lap. Seriously? $750 to sit next to a dog?

And finally, you need to train your stewardesses to speak slower and to smile. We weren't able to understand anything either one said on either flight, meaning both spoke a mile a minute and they were extremely unfriendly.

We would like to be able to use your airline as to use United from Newark adds an additional hour to our drive from East Hampton, but it just might be worth it as we were so upset with how uncomfortable we were.

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
