Amber sent a message to Stephen Burke CEO, NBCUniversal, Inc. – email address that said:
My name is Jeff and I am the owner of the Austin Models Talent Agency in Austin, Texas. We are a talent management firm.
You have photos and also statements of libel and sexual harassment on your web site about one of the Models actresses that my company represents:
I AM THE copyright holder to the photos on that link. REMOVE them or further action may be taken. That exact photo is from the television series, "Friday Night Lights," and I am certain that NBC TELEVISION will want to pursue this also if it remains on your site.
Under penalty of perjury, the information in this notice to you is accurate, and I and my company are the copyright owner of the images - Signed: Jeff
The personal and libelous attack on this individual, AMBER , puts your company in jeopardy of legal action if you do not correct this issue by removing the photo and all statements of libel from your website. The libel on your web site (written known untrue statements designed to cause personal and financial damage), stands to potentially affect Amber's ability to secure employment in her industry, for which legal action may also include recovering of potential lost wages past, present, and future. This also defames her within her community and could affect other employment situations as unrelated to the talent industry.
In addition, the photo that is on your website represents Amber when she was a minor, 17 years of age. If you are the "legal department" for your web site, I am positive that you understand the implications that can cause for you in a Federal court situation. Please take note that the photo represents a MINOR and is being broadcast via your website across state lines, therefore making this a federal issue.
Please remove all references to AMBER from your web site and notify us when this is completed. Thank you.
Regards,
Jeff
