My name is Kayla. I currently reside in Sun City, Arizona and work at a Fry'a Food and Drug store in the same city. I am 22 years old and my goal is to become a medic and then join the Army in June.
However, I have been struggling to get the funds to go to college and I would like to go somewhere out of state, like Washington DC or Tampa. I know I will do great and serve my country well but I am asking for a scholarship to go to Community College out of state and that I can transfer to a Kroger Company store in either DC or Tampa.
I know it is a lot to ask for your help in doing this but I don't have any other option. I am saving up for college, a car, and all the fees that go with a car and a secured credit card so that I can start to build some credit so that I will be able to start renting a house.
Although I have only worked for Kroger for about a month now I really feel like I have been a part of the team.
I know it is a lot to ask you for this but, I feel it is necessary to help me achieve my goals. I have a health care provider level CPR Card which I will be renEwing very soon. And, I am thinking about taking an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support class and getting a certification in between Medic and basic life support CPR. It will help me get more prepared for the classes and I a really ready for that.
All I am asking from you is for the chance to go to a conmunity college and study as hard as I can and take the EMT classes and get certified as an EMT in the United States.
Please can you help me out with this. I know that there is a Kroger scholarship for the children of Kroger asssociates however, I am not old enough to have a kid in college. I myself have been paying for college myself for the last year and can only afford one semester per year. It has been a hard ride and a long one but I am willing to do ANYTHING to achieve my goals.
So, I am asking you with so much hope that you can please help sponsor me at college in the Spring through the Kroger scholarship.
