My name is Venus, I have worked for Your Ross Stores for almost 9 years and was terminated (fired) on February 2016 for one mistake that was just a simple reaction at the moment.
Let me tell you a little bit about me working for your Ross Stores. I am a hard working person, always giving my best and go that extra mile to better the store. I completed all task giving to me, work most of the position and department within the store. I have been a cashier/customer services. I am certified as a Front End Supervisor and also back up MOD. I have worked with the stock and mark down team also been at the fitting room. I have work at the cash office and as a full time worked at the hope department and also ladies accessories. Always volunteering and willing to help whenever help was needed, even working double shift and staying late when needed. I also travel to set up new stores.
Always punctual, even when sick still make it to work.
This is what let to my termination:
A person was steeling and I step outside the door so I could see the license plate of the car that we could have enough information to give to the police. I did not chase the person, I did not chase the car, I did not go to the parking lot or cross the street.
We as a team at your Ross Stores are not been train properly in the way as to how t handle this matter. I have not seen any training video or sign any paper that stated that I have been train or that a manager spoke to me about it.
I am not making any excuses for what I did and I apologize if in any way I hurt the store.
I could have been giving a verbal warning or a write up. How can some one with almost 9 years of experience working for your Ross Stores had been terminated without taken that into consideration all the certification and hard work I have done? Is it okay for a manager to put the life of an employee in danger y sending out to buy stuff for the store? Or send them driving to another store to pick stuff for the store?
Please reconsider this matter and allow me to come back to work for your Ross Stores.
I love working for your Ross Stores and like to interact with the customers.
I would like a fallow up in this matter and the actual reason as to why was I really terminated.
