Michele sent a message to Nigel Travis Chairman and CEO, Dunkin’ Brands Group, Inc. – email address that said:
My neighbor and good friend went to Dunkin Donuts in Shelby NC this morning. Her name is Tiffany. Here is what happened in her own words: "Went to get my .66 coffee at Dunkin Donuts. They gave me the wrong coffee. Had to go in because I can't drink black coffee. Woman at register was rude like it was my fault. Done with Dunkin. Not to mention their parking lot is not the best design. I didn't drink this coffee. She rung the people up in front of me touched money and then when she remade mine two lids were stuck together and she handled all over my lid and put it on my coffee. Now I know just anybody wouldn't notice that but I have surgery coming up! And the reason I'm not healing is because they said my immune system is part of the problem. So I wasted a trip into shelby this morning. But it will not happen again with Dunkin" This young lady is very dear to my heart, She has been battling cancer for over a year, and has more surgery and uncertainty in her future. She didnt get the servers name but did say she was African American. This young lady is the nicest most humble Christian woman you will ever meet. And all she wanted was a 66 cent cup of your coffee. I think she is owed an apology and her name is Tiffany.
Thank you for your time.
Michele
