My sister made premium reservations for a trip to Orlando starting 7/5/16. On train – Joseph Boardman email address

Paul sent a message to Joseph H. Boardman – CEO, Amtrak – Email Address that said:

My sister made premium reservations for a trip to Orlando starting 7/5/16. On train 97, our rooms were found to have damage. I had to be moved from room 003 to 007 due to broken door.
On return trip back on train 98, our entire car had no air conditioning! Staff could not move any of us, because the train was full. The temperature in our roomettes reached 104 degrees. It was stifling, sweltering and miserable. We were all feeling ill. Conductor informed us that there would be someone to try to fix the train in Savannah GA. We did reach Savannah until after 9:00pm. The staff offered to let us stay in the diner car. I was heartbroken for my sister, who at great expense, planned out this vacation trip.

How was this allowed to happen? We were informed it was the third time that week it had broken down. That car, if not the entire train, should have been taken out of use.

Once again I ask, how was this allowed to happen?
