My son was out of work and could not afford a new Xbox 1 for his son for Christmas.so he bought a refurbished one. Unknown to him his sons grandmother bought him a new one. Between looking for a job and finally gettin another one at a much lower wage he tried to take the refurbished one back to the store to rerturn it. It was never opened. He also bought games and other things. The refurbished one was $160.00 but with all the other stuff came to over $400. We have bought multiple systems and games for years from your company and this is the first time we had a problem. I will tell you the receipt did say he had until Jan 15th to return it but due to the circumstances I explained didnt get a chance to return it until 2 weeks after that. I understand there are policies but there are times when life gets in the way. He tried to explain all this to the employee at the store but the employee was less than pleasant and understanding. He wanted to buy it back at half of what he paid. Mr. Raines if he didnt really need the money to try to catch up on bills from when he was unemployed he would not have tried to return it. I am sure you will agree sometimes you have a valid reason for an exception to be made and I would believe you would have instructed your manager due to his circumstances to return the unopened system for a full refund. I am hoping you will read this and make an exception for the reasons I explained. We have been very good customers and spent a lot of money over the years in your stores and want to continue to do so in the future. Please help me out with this situation. I know $160 is not a whole lot of money but it is when your behind on all your bills because of circumstances out of your control (losing a job due to downsizing) Please help me out with this situation. I would be very grateful if you can do this.
