Carol St. Onge sent a message to Stephen Burke that said:
So you will do anything for the almighty dollar. So all the mass school shootings and killing on the streets isn't enough for you. Now a 10 episode series called The Purge which just incite more violence. I am so disappointed and disgusted. It isn't a matter that I can choose not to watch it, it is a matter of who will.
