Dear Mark Parker,
My name is Valentina White, I am 15 years old. I enjoy playing the sport basketball, I play all year round. I play for my high school Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, in Northwood, NH. As a freshman I made the varsity team and was a starter. I practice 7 days a week, in the spring I play on two AAU teams to continuously develop my skills so that I can play even better for the next school year.
I do this while wearing NIKE basketball shoes, I love wearing NIKE basketball shoes and have been wearing them as long as I can remember. I believe they are the best shoes to compete in, although all my basketball shoes have been NIKE I am still looking for that one shoe that is perfect for me from NIKE, you see I have a condition âflat feetâ which means I do not have strong arches and I need dedicated support.
I go through multiple pairs of shoes a year because I cannot find the one that fits and supports my feet just right. I have had multiple injuries since each shoe does not fit my needs. An example of this would be the Lebron Soldier 10s they were supposed to have good support for the arch of my foot, but I had constant injuries while wearing them.
I just want a shoe that is perfect for people like me, because I know that I am not the only one who goes through life having âflat feetâ, if you were willing to develop a new shoe based on this condition that not only I have but so many others, including professional basketball players, which I hope to become someday.
I am willing to try anything new, I would be happy to test anything new that will keep my feet fully supported. I would love to be your spokesperson as you develop said shoes.
Basketball is my passion and I want to be able to achieve my goals of playing in college and further, but itâs a challenge because I cannot find that perfect shoe. I love NIKE and I know together we can find that perfect shoe and share it with the world. I look forward to hearing from you, and I thank you in advance for taking the time and reading my letter.
