I read with interest that Nike has severed ties with Roger Federer and his clothing contract. May I offer an alternative: I am a classical pianist in the San Francisco Bay Area and regularly give four to six concerts annually. In addition to the performances I teach upwards of fifty students a week. I suggest we work out a deal in which I only wear Nike clothing during my public appearances. We could even temporarily put a Nike swoosh on the pianos on which I perform. I read that Nike did not wish to match the thirty million dollars/year offered by a Japanese clothing company to Roger Federer.
