Carolyn Rister sent a message to Peter Nordstrom that said:
I am writing to express my concerns about a recent promotion for shopping on Cyber Monday at your store your in November 2018. I would like to bring to your attention the fact that I received extremely poor customer service by your promotion department.
I can't remember the details but if you spent so much money you would get a promotion certificate. I spent enough to receive $50. Though I appreciate the $50 I was only able to spend $29 and had $21 left to spend. I was going to spend the rest but realized that it had expired only one day before.
I tried calling several people in your promotions department and explained that I just missed the expiration date by one day and still had $21 to spend and no one was willing to help me. They said there was nothing they could do. I suggested a $20 Nordy Certificate and still they would not help. There attitude was to bad sooo sad.
It was extremely disheartening that I could not receive the assistance I was politely requesting and ultimately could not get the difference of my promotional certificate.
I have been a devoted customer of Nordstrom for many years now and I hope you will take my complaint seriously.
