@Nordstrom – Peter Nordstrom – I had a very bad experience at your store in the Galleria Mall in Houston

Rosita Maldonado sent a message to Peter Nordstrom that said:

I had a very bad experience at your store in the Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas on Thursday, January 3, 2019.

I was looking around in your jewelry department and I seen a necklace that I liked. I asked the store associate if I could see the necklace. The associate took the necklace out of the case and I tried it on. I liked the necklace and asked the associate how much was it? The associate told me it was $139 which I normally would not spend that much on a necklace but my husband told me to buy it. The associate said well let me look on the register at how much it is because we are having a sale. I said okay. The associate checked the price on the register and said it was in fact $139. My husband said to me, just purchase it if you like it because you never really like a lot of jewelry and if you like this necklace purchase it. I said okay. The associate went to ring up the necklace and said it wasn't $139 in fact it was $1139.00. I was very upset and the associate said well I'm sorry and she said the other register may have not been working right. She then showed me the tag and said see it says $1139.00 but I didn't look at the tag I just took her word for it that she gave me the correct price.
I spoke to a supervisor that night which was last Thursday, January 3rd and she said I would have to talk to Steven Hogan the store manager when he came back from vacation today, which I did and Mr. Hogan said there was nothing he could do about the situation. I let Mr. Hogan know that this is a deceptive trade practice and he said no it wasn't. Please help.
