@Nordstrom – Peter Nordstrom – I have been an Icon member for years . This is why I am not shopping

Bet Jennings sent a message to Peter Nordstrom that said:

I have been an Icon member for years . This is why I am not shopping Nordstroms again, extremely poor service and unethical return policy. There are other stores that carry the same designer merchandise I like and I have now discovered online direct to the designers. I ordered 2 dresses on 4/13/2020, approximate cost $2,587.18. I received them over a week later , the color was not as represented and could not return to store due to Covid 19. I receievd directions on how to return and sent them back (tags attached etc) on 4/27. Today is 5/10/2020, the merchandise has been received by Nordstrom and logged in 5/06/2020. I am being billed $2,587.18 due 5/12. This amount due is less than 29 days from the order date, the merchandise was returned and verifed returned 4/27, yet I am told that I must pay $2,587.18 or risk service charges and interest, yet NORDSTROM has the merchandise, not me. The Pedro Garcia shoes went on sale at Nordstroms and Neimans a few days after I ordered. I have not been able to get a price match and no one retunred my email of 4/26/2020 asking for a price match. I had bought those to wear for Mothers day. I received an email today saying they can't price match, because they have no way of verifying inventory, size, color on that date. I decided not to wear those sandals today so I can return them. I'll buy from reputable retailers who has ethical return and price match policies. I won't set foot in a Nordstrom store again.
