Shelby sent a message to Peter Nordstrom that said:
Ms. Philpot, I am sending this as my last resort to an issue that stemmed from an incident some months ago. Yes, I have reached out to the store manager, Megan, spoken to her in person twice. I have awaited a response for some time. This is my last option.
I love shopping at Nordstroms and was excited when the store opened at The Green, in Beavercreek, Ohio. During one shopping trip, I noticed 2 pair of boots that caught my eye and took them to the cashier for purchase. The associate was very helpful and we began to talk about the boots. She admired them and spoke how she was never able to find nice boots in her size, as these particular ones were her size, and she was going to see if there were anymore. As she was ringing the boots up, I realized I had left my wallet with my cards out in the car. I told her my car was right in front and it would take me less than 2 minutes to go out an come back in. Once I had gone out and come back in, I noticed she was no longer at the register and neither were the boots. I asked another associate and he said he thought she would be back shortly. She never returned. I went on to work and called the store and told the manager my issue. She said they would look for the boots, as they may have been in the back. I returned the next day as the doors opened and again spoke to an associate who had called the manager for me. The manager and I went back to the area where the boots were originally and canvassed the aisles. I had taken pictures of the boots and prices to show my mother I had found some boots at a terrific price for my daughter and myself. I showed these same pictures to the store manager. She then said she would look in the back, as the boots may have been in an area of which I can't remember the name; dressing, layway or something to the sort. I described the associate to her and she said she would try to locate her and the boots. To this day, I have not received an outcome. I have been back to the store, called, left my number and email, and still no response. One associate did say I could try the Kenwood and Dublin stores. I tried that and they did not have the boots either.
I know this may be a long shot in me receiving a reply, and yes, I could probably try to find the boots again, but I just wanted to be heard and treated as a valued customer. I really liked those boots, as you can probably tell.
Thank you for your time.
