Dear Mr. H. Fisk Johnson ,

I’m Adrienne a Marshfield Clinic AmeriCorps member, serving the Kenosha County of Aging Disability, Resource Center (ADRC) in partnership with Goodwill Industries of SE Wisconsin; Volunteer Guardian Services Program.

Volunteer Guardian Services (VGS) is a program that was established to provide decision making for at risk adults. These are elderly or disabled, they have no family, or have been forgotten by their families and friends, or have been abused physically, financially or both by those who are suppose too care for them.

We search out self-less good hearted persons with maturity and compassion and can pass a background check.

VG responsibilities and duties varies; A VG is an advocate for the ward; their voice for those who cannot speak, to fight for themselves.

I know members of the S.C Johnson family look for community service opportunities. Becoming a volunteer guardian is a unique opportunity, one which will provide you with many priceless experiences that will give you satisfaction knowing that you are serving an integral role in the life of another person. There is a great need in our community for people like you who are willing to advocate on behalf of and be a guardian for some of our community’s most vulnerable people.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer guardian please contact my supervisor Lisa Koenen, or email her
Sincerely,
Adrienne
