RE: Citizens Bank Building,
Beecher Road, Flint, Michigan
US Mineral Asbestos Property Damage
Claim
Our firm represents an entity named Anderson Memorial Hospital which filed a nationwide class action lawsuit against several manufacturers of asbestos-containing fireproofing, texture or acoustical plaster products. These defendant companies subsequently filed for bankruptcy, and Anderson Memorial Hospital filed bankruptcy claims on behalf of buildings for which we had documents in our possession indicating that a certain asbestos product was installed in a particular building.
One of the products was Cafco Blaze-Shield, Type D manufactured by United States Mineral Products Company and we have invoices providing this product was installed in the Citizens Bank building in 1966; therefore, we filed a bankruptcy claim for the Citizens Bank building. This claim has now been allowed in a group settlement under the Anderson Memorial class and has a value of $11,738 less attorney’s fees and costs.
We are in the process of finalizing this settlement and will be making payment of all claims in the very near future, we need to find out who the payee will be for the check, the address for mailing and to who’s attention it should mailed to.
I would appreciate it if you could lead me in the right direction as to who we should be speaking to regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
Rosie
