Kyle Haley sent a message to William S. Demchak Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The PNC Financial Services Group Email Address that said:
Our mortgage was purchased by PNC last year. This year our home was flooded due to Hurricane Harvey. We have now been homeless for over two months trying to rebuild our home and lives. The Loss Claims Dept. for PNC has consistently been dishonest, uninterested and unhelpful. I realize that PNC has a financial interest in our home, whether I like it or not. But it is unconscionable to me that under these circumstances with obstacles we already face and the upheaval in our lives that our mortgage lender cant step up and allow the money to rebuild and move on. The hoops demanded by your company have frozen our progress and crippled our ability to plan any further work. We received a $65000 dollar ADVANCE from Allstate and have been given $25000 of that money. We are now told we can expect no other payments until work that I cannot pay for is complete. It is astonishing to me that a financial institution can be so obtuse to how the economy works. How can I retain good contractors when I am unable to pay them for seemingly months. I am not asking for sympathy, understanding or special treatment. I am asking for good faith and common sense.
