Our progressive city has banned plastic bags. If I want a paper bag at the Corvallis Oregon store, its 5 cents.
We have rentals and spend a lot of money at HD and it really irks me that I cant get a damn bag. Today I bought a bunch of PVC fittings and a yard hydrant. I refused the 5cent bag and threw all the fittings into the cart. The lady at the pro desk asked me if I wanted a box as I passed. I gladly took it and then spent the next 15 minutes at the customer service desk because the girl didnt give me my military discount. She had to credit every item manually and then reenter every item to charge me again. Big waste of my time and hers. You probably think Im being unreasonable, but Im about to start driving an extra 4 miles each way to Lowes. I have more, but Im already pissed off. Ken
