Per our phone conversation today your demand to have my 19 year old son saw his riffle in half for him to get full value for his gun is totally unexceptionable. He is under 21 and by law he can not have a gun under 18 inches. Sawing the gun in half will not disable the gun from firing but only shorten it and make it unlawful for him to have.
We will by no means even think about sawing this gun in half. The right thing to do is to have a police officer come to our house and take the gun away safely.
Im very displeased by the lack of professionalism and common sense Allstate has used to try to resolve this minor property damage around $200
Your drunken driver totaled our car and almost killed our son you need to pay full price for a replacement gun as it was only 1 day old.
Please let us know when we will be reimbursed for the full amount.
