Mark Lane sent a message to Peter Hancock that said:
Mr. Duperreault,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: AIG Travel Guard Insurance. Umnfoprtunetly Travel Guard does not have a complaint number or escalation department so I reaching ut to you.
The issue that I have experienced was: I summitted my claim on March 18, 2020 and spoke to a representative in April 2020 to get a status update and was told someone would contact by the last name of Liu. On May 5, 2020 I again contacted a representative because I heard nothing about my claim or the status of it and was told the same thing.
This meant that I bought this insurance believing that in the event something that happened with my trip through no fault of my own. I am affected because I am out money that I need to use to because of this crisis. United Airlines cancelled my flights in the midst of COVID-19.
I want the policy to be paid out.
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply to this email address.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Lane
