I am an Owner of Toyota Fortuner (HR 43B 7171) from India, I bought this vehicle 10 months back, this vehicle has run about 20,000 Kms till now. I started facing an issue related to fast degradation of front disc brakes. I highlighted this at the service center during my last service, however, the service advisor told to me continue with this problem for another 10000 kms and then get it changed. He also informed that it is a common issue with toyota fortuner wherein the Disc Brakes dont last beyond 30000 kms.
My issue is, if this is a manufacturing problem then why shall i pay for this. this was the last thing i expected on buying such a high value vehicle. The worst thing is the service support, the dealer straight away refused to help me and said they would only replace the disc once the payment is made. Why should i pay for the sub standard product installed by Toyota Kirloskar india. Request your intervention in getting the same corrected.
