Good Morning
I have been a loyal Toyota owner for over 30 years and have owned a Corona, Celica, Camry, Van, two different trucks, Corolla and 2 different 4 Runners. I have also sold your product confident that when a customer left with a Toyota I would have delivered them the best car on the market. Unfortunately I am writing to voice my displeasure with my present 4 runner, a 2007 Limited V-8.. I have never experienced the failures of so many components in a Toyota and can't believe the shoddiness of the engineering of the car. Between 70K and 95K miles I have replaced front wheel bearings, rear differential bearings, an alternator, the torque converter and the entire air injection system. These have not been minor repairs but highly expensive teardowns in some cases. It has always been my understanding these vehicles were OVERbuilt and their longevity, durability and reliability with proper maintenance was unsurpassed. I cannot overemphasize my disappointment in this vehicle and your engineers should hang their heads in shame. I have a Corolla with over 200K miles that has been an excellent car but this 4 Runner is at the other end of the spectrum in well made cars. After decades of product loyalty I may be seeking another brand as I can't keep pouring money into such an inferior product.
Disappointingly yours
