Ahmad Tamim sent a message to Akio Toyoda that said:
Hello Mr. Toyoda,
From the very first day of my life in war torn city of Kabul, Afghanistan, I started driving our family car, a Toyota Carina 1982 where I couldn't reach the gas pedal very smoothly. I felt in love with Toyota's durability and its parts availability. I believe in the ethics of the founders of Toyota. I did my new purchase of a Prius 2018 from a Toyota authorized dealer in Carlsbad, California on October 29, 2018. I signed all the applications and paid appropriate fees and took my car with a dream of making my living with my new car, but that dream is gone away after I got a call from this dealership manager and saying that Toyota finance service didn't accept my loan application at 2.9% Apr. They could accept at initial rate of 5.9 % APR or else they take the car back. I am saddened and heartbroken by the act of this dealership and I felt that I am betrayed by the Toyoda family.
I am a first generation immigrant to the USA where I am living alone and all my family is back in Afghanistan.
I don't know what would happen with the situation has happened I wish you could help me and show me the real generosity of a human being.
Thank you,
Ahmad Tamim
