Please Help! I have been a customer of Suntrust bank for about 8 years. I have both a checking account and a MM acount and I have a problem. I am in the Philippines working for a fiance' visa. I have made numerous attempts by phone to get a letter from Suntrust that is required by US immigration to proceed with optaining the visa. They want a letter from Suntrust stating: You will need a letter from your employer and letters from your Bank and your employer need to say,
The bank letter should say this and nothing more. It should be on Bank Letterhead, Dated, addressed to “To whom it may concern” and as close as possible to the letter below, they do not want the type of account or the account number Just what is below.
To whom it may concern.
(Your Full Name) has an account at this bank, which was opened on (the date the account was opened). The total deposits for the last year were (the total amount deposited in the last 12 months) and the present balance is (the amount in the account at the time this letter was written)
Signed (officer of the Bank)
(Title of bank office)
I am told by Suntrust via phone that the only way I can get this letter is in person which means I would have to buy a plane ticket an fly R/T to get this letter. I am on dissability with medical problems which make it extremely difficult to Fly back and forth and back again for the letter. I can email passport, drivers licence or what ever Suntrust may require of me to accomplish this task. Please email me asap. I have a phone number which is through skype and we are 12 hours apart from each other email probably works best.
Thank you in advance for your time and help in this matter.
Sincerely,
Frank
