Linda sent a message to Glen F. Post, III President and CEO, CenturyLink, Inc. – email address that said:
Please help me. I'm the Guardian of Cathleen and her account and she lives in a group home. Several years ago I authorized the staff at her home to get her a landline. At that time she was working a small job and was able to pay for it.
She is no longer working and has no income. I'm trying to get her phone line disconnected but am told that I'm not an authorized person on her account. I talked to Brian, the supervisor and it didn't matter that I explained the issue, he refused to cancel the line.
She has no income and cannot pay the bill that keeps coming in her name.

Thanks for any help you can give me. I totally understand that you wouldn't want to just cancel a persons line for any reason, but Cathy is unable to do this herself. I'm told, had I called in and said I WAS Cathy, they would have disconnected the line.
Unfortunately, I was honest. SIGH
