Mr. John Koch:
I moved from Ft. Pierce Florida to Oakland California TEMPORARLY in June of 2017. I was given what I felt was a fair quote and because of great customer service at the time, decided to use your company.
One year later, I finally found an apartment in Stockton CA. Now I'm being told, PODS will need to move my contents to Mantica CA (additional fee of approx $400), and Mantica will then deliver to Stockton for another fee for a total of $500? the reason I was given was: "Because your address is in Oakland, the container went to Hayward and we only travel 40 miles." My response, "First the address in Oakland is a temp address, and I did not know what city I would reside in." When I accepted your company, I was assured it wouldn't matter where I moved, just say when and where. It's in the cost.
Mr. Koch, this is totally unexceptable. I'm sure this is not how you want to run this business. I'm asking for your help in this matter. Please help. I have too many other expenses and I'm on a fixed income.
