@PODS – John Koch – Would you please call me regarding a major issue I have from a damaged POD

Tonya Rogers sent a message to John Koch that said:

Would you please call me regarding a major issue I have from a damaged POD delivered to our home on August 17, 2018. I filed a formal complaint on August 25th when the issue was discovered and have been e-mailing back and forth with Nikki Smith in an attempt to recover some of the loss from the rain, mold, and mildew damage to most of our belongings. I have sent a claim form and over 30 pictures of items that were destroyed or had to be destroyed due to mold and mildew. I would be happy to forward all e-mails and pictures to you. This was the first time we have used PODS and was looking forward to a great moving experience. I have been more than patient. It has been six weeks, but now I am being told that because I did not secure insurance through PODS, that it is my responsibility to replace everything. IT WAS A DEFECTIVE POD!! Totally not our fault! Why would I even expect less than a perfectly made container would be delivered to our home? This is total negligence and completely unacceptable. I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
This whole ordeal has been very stressful. I had a heart attack on March 16th and heart surgery on June 26th of this year. Believe me, loosing more than half of our furniture and then spending so many hours trying to get some help has added stress that I seriously do not need nor physically can afford. Please help.
