Dear Mr. Ghosn,
I wanted to start my e mail to you with your statement for the product quality , I m from Egypt and I bought your car Nissan Qashqai 2013 on 12th June 2013 because I trust that Nissan is a high quality cars and the people are credible, trusted.and professional .
I'm doing the regular maintenance for the car since the 1st 1000 Km with Abou Rawash center , Cairo -Alex road and I'm suffering every time from the unprofessional treatment that effects the image of the company and I regretted that I chose Nissan .
Last maintenance was 20 days ago and in that day after getting the car I heard a weird sound accompanying the motor sound , I went back and asked the engineer to examine the car and he said everything is ok , but the sound still there , I went to another Nissan service center - Joseph Titou , and they said I have to change the Gear box with cost of 35000 EGP .
I'm surprised ! after less than 3 years with a Nissan car and I need to change Gearbox ...that was a chock for me , but the engineers were not surprised as it is a known case , that Qashqai has a manufacturing defect with the gearbox appears any time . so Why shall I pay for that . and they told me that they faces the same case with other people and they changed them the gearbox for free as it is not the owner mistake .
But they refused to change it for me as I did 130000 KM, Is it logic ,even after 100000 Km to change gearbox ??!!!!
Im asking for the same treatment as i'm taking care of my car and it is not my mistake , please I need your quick action to fix my car , Which I think it should be expected from a reputable and big company like Nissan to admit that the Manufacturing defect in Qashqai 2013 gearbox is your responsibility and you have to fix it.
It is easy to go to the public media and all the internet sites and tell my experience with Nissan , but I trust your will take the right and fair discission .
