As a retired VA veteran on a fixed income, I find it irreprehensible that Progressive drops my discount advantage (combining home and auto) after two years, one of the many reasons Mountain Valley (Progressive Specialty Insurance) increased my property insurance. I know things increase, that Colorado had two cost increases in June and October, I filed a hail claim in 2019, and my property value increased. I was never told that the home and auto combination discount dropped after 2-years. While Progressive spins that they are here to help during Covid-19 by refunding a portion of my auto insurance, it seems Progressive is gouging me on my property insurance. Just let me know if I should be looking at other insurance at a lower rate? I'm writing you because you say you are the "girl next door" and "want to hear about customer service to make sure we are taken care of."
