I have been using quests’s services for close to 10 years. I had heart valve replacement surgery about 15 years ago and need to have my pt/inr monitored on a monthly basis. I have a problem with quest’s practices over the last 2 years or so. The phlebotomists are now in the bill collection business. I am constantly hassled about overdue bills and am asked to pay before blood is drawn. Hey, if I owe, I pay. But here is my problem. When I get home and check the statement which is sitting in my check drawer with all my other bills I see that the bill was not overdue and I still had a week to pay. This happens constantly and it’s very annoying. Can you guys change this policy?
