Karen L Davis sent a message to Stephen Rusckowski that said:
Good afternoon, Mr. Rusckowski!
It is my great pleasure and honor to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous gesture of the $250 Giving Thanks Payment, among other things I've experienced here at Quest. You are truly a very generous boss to look out for so many workers and I hope that each and every one of them/us recognizes and appreciates what you do for all of us as a whole!! I've been a medical transcriptionist at Quest for two years now and feel so privileged to have this opportunity. Most of my working career has been for small businesses and the boss always looks out for number one, which make me continue to work for pennies as they each have known what a struggle it is to raise children as a single parent. I've finally reached a point in life where I have a great opportunity at a nationwide company, paid time off, income that doesn't cause me to go in debt, and a 401K to plan for my future at the ripe age of 52 now. I cannot express just how grateful I really am for you and Quest as a whole!!!
Even during the shutdown, I felt taken care of knowing that I would still have a job to come back to after things picked up . . . and two months later we were back!! Having the opportunity to play even a minor role in such a great part of what we do here feels really great! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I don't know if you are aware of the sale of our local hospital NHRMC in Wilmington, NC, but I'm being told that it may cause our little Quest lab to have volume problems. This could devastate my life all over again if we should lose our role in the Wilmington, NC, area. Could you please take some time to look at this problem before it becomes our lives and jobs at stake to see what can be done to either merge with the hospital lab, work remotely on our larger labs work, or grow our client base to counteract the upcoming issue? I feel so proud to be a part of this company and when I was hired believed that I would retire here. I truly don't want that to change. Thank you for your time, caring heart, and consideration!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas as well! Thank you for looking out for us little people in such a big picture!!
Peace in Jesus!
