I had a very unpleasant experience at your Quest laboratory on Sunday March 16, 2019 at your Miami Gardens location 33015. I went to have lab work done, and yes, I had made an appointment and all that.
First, I go and sit down, and the phlebotomist asks where the paper work is from doctor. I inform her that he sent it via the Internet. Her response, "I have to go into the computer?" I replied, "Yes." He had sent it in about 2-3 months earlier. The entire time while on the computer. This Quest employee was wiping her nose with her hands!!!! There was not a box of tissues anywhere.
Then she did not wash her hands, I did not see any hand sanitizer anywhere. She just put on the gloves and took my blood out.
I have been a type 1 diabetic since age 5. Yes, I have to get more blood drawn often. I have an appointment with my physician on March 27, 2019. I just wanted to get this done.
There is no reason for any of that to have happened. Please a box of tissues for both the employees and patients, as well as a bottle of at least hand sanitizer. Quest can at least do that.
