Jan TESTARMATA sent a message to Stephen Rusckowski that said:
I'm registering a complaint of harassment (by the waiting room clients) and attempts to "control me into submission" by the staff. I had a 9:45 AM appointment. I opened the door to the lab,and while standing outside, simply asked if those with appointments should remain outside. I was told to wait outside. I stepped back to my red x spot and made a silent gesture , a type of shrug with my shoulders and arms. I'm of Italian descent and such gestures are reflexive and natural to me. The desk attendent (a male) told me to stop it, that I was behaving improperly. I explained to him that such gestures are natural to me, but he refused to recognize this fact.
When I finally entered the facility I was harrassed and verbally abused by a blonde woman with a 4 or year old boy who continued to call me inappropriate, childish, and all manner of other names. I ignored her but feel damaged.
Since when is it a crime to ask questions about procedure.? Please protect your clients from other clients. I've been discriminated against because of my Italian heritage.
I've always had excellent service at this location and been a good patient.
I demand to speak to the manager of the Bay Area Quest Diagnostic labs about how this issue will be rectified.
What I experienced is not right. I am also considering filing a discrimination and harassment complaint.
