Question, Why am I unable to get a copy of a processed check when the transaction is posted as an authorized debit? I wrote checks from my personal account to cover bills for a deceased relative until the estate account was established. On March 9th I went to the branch in Monroeville, Pa. requesting copies of the checks. I was told they were having issues with the printing and copies would be mailed to me. Yesterday, having no communication or copies I returned to the bank. Once again they couldn't print and I was given the explanation noted above. I would like to recover my monies from the estate. I have not encountered this problem with other banks I am working with. As a side note, this relative passed unexpectantly in December, I buried my father this week and my mother is in hospice. Would appreciate your help in this matter.
