Good morning, I have what I believe to be a RBS credit card as it clearly states this in the top right hand corner. I have been reading on the back of my statement that RBS cards do not pay a non sterling transaction fee and I have always paid one . After sitting here totally bored I decided to call the customer service number ( now that was an experience I donât want to repeat !, and weâll leave it at that ) to find out why, and after speaking to a very pleasant gentleman he had to explain to me that although itâs an RBS card, itâs not ! Are you following because I wasnât . He said itâs whatâs called âclassicâ card , issued by RBS but not a RBS card, clear as mud ! And I was astounded when he said that he has never had that question asked. Perhaps when my new card is issued in 2024 it might be a good idea to rename it.
