On Thursday last I planned to travel Cork -Stansted and had booked online previously and paid 160 euro return flight.
This trip was for a job interview and was at the final stages for an excellent position in the UK.
To my horror when I arrived at the desk ,I was asked for a booking pass .This was my first time booking directly , and wasn't aware of this.I expected to be issued it, when I arrived with original documentation .
The agent then requested I pay 45 euro in which I wasn't in position to. At stage I relished I wasn't going to make the trip and my opportunity to secure this position was lost.I now believe it would cost me another 45 euro/stg on the other side returning.
This is unbelievable and what a way to operate an airline .I Paid for the fare and was unable to travel.THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
No Ryanair Representative only an agent who was in no way understanding to my position
No phone contact for Ryanair.
I now expect to have my fare credited back to me.
Michael
