Dear Mr. Slater
I am writing to you in hopes of your assistance with help in resolving an issue with my account with Republic Services. I was forced to cancel my services due to the numerous issues I had with the billing dept of Republic Services. I pay all my bills by debit pay. Never have any issues with any of my acccts., but it seemed your company could not ever get their billing correct. They would say bank denied my charges, I would call my bank, and they would say that the charges were not denied and they had not received a billing to deny. Then changed my billing to credit card payment same issue. Had to once again address the same old issue. In August of last yr my credit on file did get compromised, when I received a late notice, I contacted Republic Service with the new card number. Then in Dec. 2017, I was sent a notice of disruption of service, guess what, same old issue. This was when I called to cancel my service. This was more than any customer should have to continue to deal with. The customer service representative was very rude. I can honestly say, that after being a loyal customer for 25+ yrs this is a very poor way to treat your customers. I myself, owe and operate my own family business of 50+ yrs. I pride myself in customer service first and foremost. Then I receive a bill for $60.00 for remover of your property (trash containers) from my property. This charge is ridiculous. The driver on his normal route picked up their container. I sent a letter in response stating my thoughts about this charge. I have now received a statement from a coast to coast financial solution, a collection agency for this ludicrous charge. Acct #1044149. I am asking for your assistance in resolving this matter. I do not feel it is my duty to pay for the pickup of your property from my property after cancellation of my services due to the errors of your billing dept. I look forward to hear from you.
Thank You.
