Greetings from the Faculty of Technology and Engineering (FTE), The Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) of Baroda!
We on behalf of the students, feel extortionately gratified that we have an opportunity to write to you.
We with equal pride wish to apprise you that the students of FTE ,MSU have been organizing “PARAMARSH” a national level non-technical fiesta for the last 16 years. 2017 turns out to be the 17th consecutive year for the event and Paramarsh has grown to be glorious seventeen.
It is quite an established fact that the engineering aspirants of our country, despite having sound technical knowledge lack some incumbent soft skills which manifest as a crucial obstacle and hinder their road to success in career realms and beyond.
Since its provenance in 2001, PARAMARSH has grown prodigious, driven with the sole aim of fostering soft skills in students and acting as a vital ingredient for improvising their entrepreneur streaks.
Lectures/Seminars
Proving itself to be the largest non-technical festival of the West zone, PARAMARSH receives a whopping total of 22,000 students every year. This year it is scheduled 15th,16th and 17th SEPTEMBER. Over the past years, a series of seminar and guest lectures have been organized incorporating various eminent personalities. Naming a few of them; DR.K. KASTURIRANGAN - A former ISRO chairman, BALAJI VISHWANATHAN - the top Indian QUORA writer and among the top 5 across the world, MR.PRABHU CHAWLA- A prominent Indian Journalist ,MR.RONEN SEN- Indian Ambassador to top five G10 countries, MR.ASHWIN SANGHI- A thriller fictionist accusing place in top 100 in Forbes magazine, DR.KIRAN BEDI-Indias first woman IPS officer, MR.ZAIDI HUSSAIN- The reporter renowned for his best-selling books on Indias crime capital and for his interview with Dawood Ibrahim after he left India, CHETAN BHAGAT- The famous Indian author and a well- known speaker.
We organized the first time ever in Gujarat Follow Your dreams including MR.CHARU SHARMA- Indian commentator and quiz master, MR.MADHU MEHTA- Pioneer of Indian
Telecom Industry, MR.NITIN GUPTA- Stand up comedy artist, founder and CEO of Entertainment Engine and DR.ANIL KANE- visionary behind Kalpsar Project and a corporate juggernaut. the influence of these eminent personalities saw a spirited discussion and inspired the young minds to pursue their interest.
