Hi this is Melissa and I worked for caseys in anamosa Iowa and I got sick in the end of May and I am still sick but I am dealing with headaches everyday now but at the time I worked I have a high white blood cell count until the middle of July and I was trying to get medical leave but when I told the manager she was hostel towards me and wouldnât not help me and get medical leave she left it up to me to get the number and figure out who I needed to talk to about. I was told by two co workers that they were told I was fired but when I applied for unemployment caseys says I quit since I did two no calls no shows but I told the manager that I couldnât finish the week and they put my quit date as 6/20 but I was told by said employees before that I was fired. Been fighting unemployment for that since they believe caseys I have proof I was sick and I have proof that the employees told me that they were told I was fired. I didnât go back because the environment was hostel.
