Dear Ryan Air,
Iâm currently on board a delayed flight from Rimini to Stanstead and wish to make a formal complaint.
You were very quick to take 55 euros off me for being 5 kilos overweight on my luggage (you also did the same on my outbound jounrney). Whilst this is petty and makes me hate Ryan Air I accept this is your policy and therefore have to pay you extra.
What I donât accept however is the following:
- despite paying more money for a priority boarding ticket I was amazed that both priority and normal boarding were boarded at the same time. This meant I had to queue in the 34 degree heat with my 3 year old son. Not what I paid extra for and a failure on Ryan Airâs part to deliver the service I paid for.
- the plane upon boarding was utterly disgusting and filthy. I attach below some pictures of my seats and the floor by my seats as an illustration. Whilst you do not specifically state that you will provide clean seats I donât think it is unreasonably to expect clean seats when flying anywhere with any airline. Again a failure on the part of Ryan Air to provide an acceptable service.
- when we raised this with one of your cabin crew members he stated that Ryan Air does not clean its airplanes until the end of the day! He did however give us some serviettes so that we could clean the area ourselves. Unpaid labour for Ryan Air was not how I expected to end my holiday.
You are very quick to charge extra when customers breach your terms on luggage allowance so it will be very interesting to see how you intend to compensate me for 1) failing to deliver the priority boarding paid for with my ticket and 2) having to spend the whole journey sat in your previous customerâs filth.
