I'm writing to tell you that Safeway has utterly failed the folks in the Bay Area during this stressing time.
Day after day, week after week, I have gone into your local stores to find material for myself--water, toilet paper, paper towels, Clorox wipes, milk, etc--all staples within your stores at one time.
NOW--nothing on the shelf. And no date as to when it will be replenished--one store manager told me there was nothing at the warehouse, another that Safeway did not have the workers to bring this material to the stores in need.
Safeway has failed the Bay Area folks allowing hoarding to take place with no resolution to fixing the problem.
As CEO, the buck stops with YOU! You are responsible for this distressing matter as the days become weeks in lockdown, with no end in sight.
FIX THE PROBLEM!!!
