I'm 70 years old. I think I'll be dead before this simple question about a Word document gets solved.
I was writing a document today in MS Word version 16.42 on an Mac version 10.14.16. While writing the document, I had to consult the internet. Suddenly, my document disappeared.
I looked up the problem in several places on the web and asked the question in a slightly different way each time. I did a virtual chat with MS Office, which gave me answers that were out in left field. I tried to talk with an agent, but the number I called kept asking me whether I was over 60 and wanted Medicare help, whether I wanted road service, etc.
I know other people have had this problem, but the solutions I found on line related to earlier versions of MS Word. Could you please help me? I'd also like to know how to prevent this from happening in the future.
