Sears started out as a catalog company and was the best in the world at – Edward Lampert email address

James B Newman sent a message to Edward Lampert - Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings - Email Address that said:

Sears started out as a catalog company and was the best in the world at that. Online Sales is nothing more than an electronic version of a catalog company- hence Amazon.com. Sears has the advantage of using its physical stores in every state as a combination of distribution centers pickup/locations, shorter shipping centers to save on shipping costs etc. instead of a central location for all distribution like Amazon. Sears could potentially out-compete Amazon on delivery of several items especially large items. Sears can either source for lowest prices to compete with the Amazons and Walmarts or it can be the first store to focus on its entire inventory being American Made. I think Sears/Kmart could be an innovator in that direction. Please tell me what you think or if you want more info on how this could work, just email me; or call me at (505) 891-8253. I would hate to see Sears/Kmart go out of business. Thanks. James.
