Since I have been unhappy with shopping at the Harlem NY store since it opened.(I'll get to that later.) Last night, around midnight, i decided to order online and pick up in the store today. The computer told me 4 of the 5 items were available and charged me for them. When I got to the store, only 3 of the items were available but you had already charged me for 4 and I have to wait for the funds to be released. Why are not the computers up to date with what is in stock? Your staff could not give me a receipt for what I was charged nor did they know what i was charged. Each one gave me a different answer. Well, I guess ordering online won't happen again. Now to the store. It is convenient for me to shop there once a month when I go to Costco. You have more than adequate staff walking around but the cases of cat food on the shelf are never open. You do not have displays, only cases on the shelves and since i want a variety of flavors of friskies I have to make sure I have a pocket knife with me (which is not too smart it today's world) to open the cases to take out 3 or 4 cans of each flavor. You should visit a Petco store to see how neatly there cans are displayed. It is also convenient for me to visit Petco since they are close to apartment. If i have too much to walk home, they politely help me get into a cab and when I get home I am not frustrated as with Petsmart. I guess I should tell you though that allowing other stores' shopping carts into your store and not having that electric fence outside your door is an improvement and has eliminated one argument for me.
I order cat food online for home delivery from Petco also with no problem. My order gets there within a few days, no problem. Your customer service person tried to tell me you don't deliver food because or the uncertainty of temperature. That's a bunch of nonsense. I have also had food for myself delivered UPS with no problems. Well, I'm sure you won't even see this email, but I hope one of your staff considers what i have said and makes some changes
