Ernest sent a message to Terry J. Lundgren- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Macys, Inc. – email address that said:
Sir
I am receiving calls regarding collections in a bill from Macy's. The bill in question, not large, was due on 21 April 2016. Payment was made and cleared my account on 18 April. The customer service center was appraised of the problem and acknowledged receipt in a letter from you dated 12 May saying they are"investigating"
The dispute. To date I am still getting collection phone calls to my home and this is becoming annoying to both me and my wife. I have spoken to my bank and they have informed me that the problem is Macy's to resolve.
I acknowledge that we are "small fry" but make it a point of pride to insure that payment owed is payment rendered.
We feel that this is being handled in a less than professional manner by your organization.
