Sir, My name is Byron, and I am a retired army, disabled veteran – Mark Fields email address

Byron sent a message to Mark Fields – President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company email address that said:

Sir,
My name is Byron and I am a retired army, disabled veteran. I purchased my Ford Expedition in October 2016, the 2017 model. A brand new vehicle which I wanted to stay with the Ford Company. My previous vehicles were all Fords to include my 1964 Ford Pickup Truck. I have owned Fords since 1987. I bought this expedition because my previous one, which I purchased in 2001, a 2002 model, finally broke down and I wanted something safe and reliable, for my wife and twin 2 year old daughters. Well sir, my vehicle broke down on 14 September, this year and I was in disbelief, a brand new vehicle with only 14950 miles on it. I contacted roadside assistance and they took my vehicle to Phil Long Ford of Motor City, which they were told to do. I told them to take it to Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills. Long story short, my vehicle was taken there and I have not heard of anything about the status. I have called twice, the 15th and 16th, and both times I was told they would call me back, and they never did. I am very disappointed in Ford, and I was not even provided a rental. With that being said, i have no transportation for myself or my family and we all have medical appointments coming up.
