Maria sent a message to Brian C. Cornell Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Target Corporation that said:
Sir,
Our credit card and bank account were hacked and fraudulently used at your company between February 7th and 9th. The hackers were able to gain access to our credit card and bank account based on recent purchases we made at your company. We have family both locally and in other countries who, until now, have been willing to shop at Target.
If you wish to retain us and our family as paying customers, I expect your IT Department to look into this issue immediately and fix this issue as we are victims of identity fraud, which is a terrible repeat of recent history.
