As a Conservative Independent and a Christian, a surgeon [who treated many of Chicago's underprivileged [Trauma] I came to respect many of our social issues.
I learned, over time, to make informed decisions, taking the patient's best interest into account as best I could without judgement.
I cannot agree with your decision, above, as it appears to be a gut response, right or wrong.
N Carolina has chosen values different from yours. For this they are being castigated.

The Torah forbids the homosexual act, known as mishkav zakhar, but has nothing to say about homosexuality as a state of being or a personal inclination. Is this your belief?

God made man in his own image, male and female. He created them.

Life is complex. People of faith have their beliefs.
The First Amendment is supposed to allow people to practice their religion according to their beliefs, in America.
You, by your actions, are undermining that right.
Please reconsider your anti-First Amendment decision.
If America will not allow conscientious Freedom of Religion, would you rather live in Saudi Arabia,Iran etc?
